I met Matt in 1998 at HOOTERS of Clarksville.
He was just back from a gig with DOTN. We began hanging out and
playing video games on a regular basis.
Matt was instrumental in getting DOTN
to play the infamous Derby Bikini Festival in Louisville, Kentucky
3 weeks prior to their hitting the road with Metallica in 1998.
I was blown up when he returned and informed
me that DOTN was no more. I encouraged Matt, Jesse and Todd to
hit the studio hard and he said "we are already there cindy".
The rest, as you see, is history!!
I believe Matt Taul may be the most underrated
drummer in the world. That is all about to change.
